THE TEAM
The minds behind the robots. We are a group of engineers, programmers, and researchers dedicated to the advancement of experimental robotics.
Giorgio Clivio
PhD Student, BEng Mechanical Engineering
Planetary robotics researcher specialising in legged mobility systems and reinforcement learning for autonomous navigation. Currently conducting doctoral research at Edinburgh Napier University on Continuity, a legged robot for lunar exploration. His expertise spans mechanical design, robotic simulation (PyBullet, Isaac Gym), and embedded systems integration.
Akshit Sachdeva
MSc Automation & Control Systems Engineering
Automation and Control Engineer specializing in the design and optimization of autonomous systems. Proven experience developing platforms from the ground up using Python, ROS, and C++. Key projects include engineering robotic arms suitable for planetary exploration, designing precision CubeSat mechanisms, and optimizing industrial robotic operations.
Kristijan Segulja
PhD Student, MSc Robotics & Autonomous Systems Engineering
Driven by a long-standing interest in autonomous systems, robotics, and intelligent behaviour, with past work spanning robot simulations development, machine learning (deep reinforcement learning), and real-world robotic platforms. Currently pursuing a PhD at Edinburgh Napier University, conducting research in adaptive robot behaviour in dynamic environments.
Harrison Brown
Integrated MEng Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Motivated by a curiosity for microcontrollers, embedded systems and power electronics with experience including microamp current sensing, biosensing and embedded sensor platforms. Currently studying an Integrated MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Edinburgh Napier University.
